My first day in Paris :)

So, I made it to Paris safely, AND SO DID MY LUGGAGE! WooHoo!

Also, I found my love in Dallas, AND in London :)

Duty-Free in Dallas,

Probably much more expensive in London :)

AND: I found the makers of my FAVORITE Jade bracelet, in THEIR hometown!
Thanks Links and Clinique. I love you BOTH!

The international flight wasn't all that great. I was in a middle seat, the cabin air conditioning system was broken (felt like it anyway), and it was almost impossible to get ice. Did you ever drink a hot coke when you were so hot you felt like you were about to pass out? Me either, and it wasn't a good feeling, AT ALL. So next time, I don't care what Momma says, I'm not flying coach again internationally. However, I will say this: I was very impressed with breakfast. A nice banana nut mixed fruit muffin, a dannon stawberry flavored probiotic/immune enhancing shake, raisins and some OJ definitely did the trick; healthy AND good for your digestive system (because we all know how important THAT is).

Anyway, my flight from London arrived early (or on time; not sure because I fell asleep before we took off!) and Mr. Ron Simeral was waiting for me at the airport. I got my own personal tour of central Paris, and it was AMAZING. We passed in front of the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, The Musee d'Orsee, and plenty of other things that were just astonishing. We also drove along the Champs-Elysees to get a glimpse of the apartment, but we didn't know the exact address at the time( Nonetheless, the area is BEAUTIFUL).

When we got home, I was greeted by his wonderful family, Catherine and Ana. They cooked me a wonderful French dinner. Viniagarette salad, Quiche, a fresh baquette with a bordeaux and fruit salad for dessert. It was DECLICIOUS!

Here are a few pictures from the tour from the car. Enjoy!

If you look closely, you can see London Bridge. This is from the plane.

I think this one is the picture of the Ferris Wheel on the river in London.

After the tour, Mr. Simeral took me to ESCE to meet the people in the office. I love them already!
It's going to be an awesome semester!
Can't wait to keep you all updated. There is so much more to come!

À plus tard!
